So I've been really busy lately with song writing. I've got like 15 songs now. Which is awesome. But I miss poem writing. So here we go.

Darkness and fever
Temperature so high
I don't know what's happening
What's going on in my mind
Midnight
Standing in the streets
Rain pouring down
A darkness so deep
It's all around
The only light for miles is a tiny street lamp
Casting eerie shadows all along the ground
It's a burning in your soul
It's ice and salt combined
It's a deep hole in my heart
And a burden on my mind
It's a long and winding road
I'm forced to always travel
I walk here so alone
My only company my shadow
Talking to myself
I'm the only one who understands
No one else would get it
This is a part of who I am
It's a sickness that infects the soul
A parasite so deadly
It'll kill you in a heartbeat
But only if you let it
It'll make you see all blurry
And make your nightmares come to life
All the worst things you imagine
Happen to me at night
Nobody gets it
The evil it possesses
They tell you it's just mental
It'll leave you if you let it
But that's not true
It'll stay
No matter what I do or say
It's stuck me like glue
And there's nothing I can do
But cry myself to sleep
And hope that it gets better
I've still got my friends
And all the people that care
I will set my goals
And just watch me, I will get there
